You're a disease and I'm the cure.

The NSG (National Security Guard) and MARCOS (marine commandos) are the new brand ambassadors of India. While the politicians have been shooting their mouths off, the brave commandos have shot the terrorists. That is the difference between leadership and pseudo-leadership.

Hundreds of operations conducted by the MARCOS and NSG they have suffered very, very few casualties. The NSG in fact has lost only four commandos till date; of these, two, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and Havaldar Gajendra Singh died in the latest operation. The secret of minimal casualties with maximum results is the selection, training and preparation that these superheroes undertake.

The training of MARCOS personnel is a two year torture ordeal. Obstacle courses, diving, paradropping, shooting, navigation, explosives, ninja-style hand-to-hand combat, silent killing techniques, you name it and they are trained in all of it. Not just training; they are experts in every one of these domains

These special forces commandos are trained to kill the enemy: plain and simple; no talk, no discussion; just kill without mercy. Their reaction time to a threat is as low as 0.26 second!
The National Security Guards [NSG], established under the National Security Guard Act of 1986 (Act 47 of 1986), is India's premier counter-terrorist force.
NSG's specific goals include:
Neutralization of terrorist threats
Handling hijacking situations in air and on land.
Bomb disposal (search, detection and neutralisation of IEDs).
PBI (Post Blast Investigation)
Engaging and neutralizing terrorists in specific situations.
Rescue of hostages
Without doubt NSG-MARCOS is the new Indian super-brand. What does it convey about the product? Quality, service, dedication till death and beyond, total success and nothing less, the best training and preparation in the world, guaranteed delivery every time, honesty and integrity unsurpassed, complete reliability and finally, leadership that is the stuff of legend. This is a super-brand made entirely in India.
Let’s be proud of it, celebrate it, and live up to it!

Drive carefully....kids on board !!!!!

An interesting thought !!!

Sleep deprivation...and lot of other things in a package.

Suddenly after years of independence there is a helpless human being who is totally dependent upon you. That realization of responsibility is bound to wake you in the middle of the night.

It only takes a few minutes to change the baby clothes......?...poo poo..cleaning....diapers etc etc.

Dont worry ,the entire system /process will become second nature in no time at all.

Give ur wife a cute hug and tell her that you are always..... all-ways there for her.

Indian

I feel proud to be an Indian.. Don't you feel the same...It's a great country. Bindra...wow he is amazing ....... after 25 years India wins a gold in an individual sport making us proud and gave us the feeling to be on top of the world...truly spectacular when our National Anthem began playing. let me share with you the brief history of Indian hockey.
Even though many ancient civilizations played hockey in different variations, the modern game of hockey--the field hockey-evolved in the British Isles in the 19th century. Hockey was introduced in India by British Army regiments and the game soon found favor among the native Indians. The first hockey club in India came up in Calcutta in 1885-86 and soon Bombay and Punjab followed suit. Making its Olympic debut at the 1928 Amsterdam Games, Indian hockey team cruised home to its first Olympic gold without conceding a single goal. The hallmark of this ruthless domination was the wizardry of Indian hockey legend Dhyan Chand who mesmerized the Amsterdam crowd with his dazzling skills. From 1928 to 1956, the Indian hockey juggernaut won six straight Olympic gold medals while winning 24 consecutive matches. This was the golden era of Indian hockey when India loomed large in world hockey and produced some of the finest players the game has ever seen. The Indian stranglehold over the Olympic hockey gold came to an end when Pakistan defeated India in the final of the 1960 Rome Olympics.

Supply Chain - An Overview.

In a country like India, about 60% of the food quality is lost in the supply chain from the farm to the final consumer. Consumer actually end up paying approximately about 35% more than what they could be paying if the supply chain was improved, because of wastage and multiple margins in the current supply structure. The farmer in India gets 30% of what the consumer pays in the retail store.
Compare this with the situation obtaining in USA,where farmer can receive up to 70% of the final retail price and the wastage percentages are so low as 4-6% only. One can easily imagine the benefits of retail and the processes associated with it,.This example holds true for all other formats also. India is a growing nation with the organized retail pie close to only 4%,which means their is ample space available for any player to grow.

Entrepreneur......Be your own boss ( series 1.)
Hi,

This is my first posting on this subject. I tell you why i choose this subject because I feel .........

Its a deep inner voice of every individual who believes in himself......and want to prove to the world his worth..his existence.

lets first understand the meaning of entrepreneur....Its a person who identifies the opportunity and persues it by creating an organisation in which he brought together the human and financial resources.

Few questions to assess the fitness for entrepreneurial life....

Can you tolerate high level of risk?
Are you an overachiever/self starter?
Willing to put extra day hours and weekends to reach your goals?
Are you a good decision maker?
Willing to put your personal funds at risk?

This year's GDP projections

October 23
This year GDP projections.
Hi,

Will India be able to repeat last year's GDP figures ? or can we just sustain the growth momentum?

Last year India had achieved 9%real GDP growth.

Interesting to know what kind of impact would the financial crises have on GDP of India?

With all that market conditions this yeare we will achieve GDP close to 7.5 % .Here's why .

Agriculture. The monsoons have been kind and the kharif crop is good .If the rabi harvests are as good ,we are looking at 7 % plus agriculture growth.with agriculture acounting for 18 % of GDP ,its contribution be 1.3% points of GDP growth.

Industrial growth is worrying ,especially the latest figures of the index of industrial production. Even so if we just take a guess that we'll close the year with at least 4.5 % growth - more likely 5 % if you ask me.Given industry 's 27 % share in GDP,that is 1.2 to1.4 percentage points of GDP growth.

Now for services which contributes 55 % of India' GDP . I am betting that it will still achieve 9% growth. This is partly due to pay commission kicker; but mostly because of the sector is domestic enough to be resonably resilient. Thus, implies a contribution of 5 % points to GDP growth. If we add these three sectors ,It is looking something like 7.5 % this year.

Unwind .....

Unwind .......
Today's life isn't easy we all running at a very high pace trying to achieve n chasing our goals etc. But with this we forget that this body(running machine) needs some rest.Life is the greatest gift that we have and I personally feel that we should water it regularly if we really want to thrive.

The word UNWIND itself says it all........

Every single day we should try to relax after a hard days work .Some people unwind themselves by listening to music, some people go for swimming ..and there are hundreds of ways to unwind ourselves. Do your own thing ..whatever you want to do ...do it..in this short lives of ours..try n live life king size without any regrets.Sometimes we think that if we do that what people will say...or think that we are too old for this....FORGET......Live your life man...Live your dreams...Live every moment.....coz every moment is eternal.Dont think about the age factor ...

If You want to feel like listening to bon jovi's song at 2 in the night...Go ahead and do it.
If you want to go crazy and want to have orange juice after tea....Go ahead and have it.

Many years from now when you look back on...

The roads you travelled.
The goals you achieved.
The life you lived.
The people you touched.

You will have just one regret.....

That......... YOU CAN'T GO BACK AND DO IT ALL AGAIN.

Relax...Enjoy....Live
